Mostly the service life of one new softgel die roll tooling is called 3 hundreds million softgels if we purely say it by softgel output. While the actual production is much different with theoretical calculation, and for most users the softgel die roll tooling is wearing a lot after 1 hundred million softgel output, continuing softel encaspulation by the wearing die roll tooling will have the problems in seaming, or cutting, or shaped softgel not enough beautiful, such wearing is a slow process during daily softgel encapsulation, its not easy to find sometimes. 

Softgel die roll tooling is the most easy damaged parts, its product contact parts and final softgel output is coming from this part. So in order to make the softgel encaspualted always well, we suggest to have one set of die roll tooling with service life around 1.5 to 2 years maximum, some larger production user have their die roll tooling with much less time. 

When softgel die roll tooling has the wearing points, some of them can be well repaired, for example injection wedge can be well recoating if no damage to body; die roller can be well refurbishing or recutting if damage is little and not deep; or user can choose to only buy new injection wedge instead of a whole set.
